Terms of Service

Duostride is a training log for tracking running, trail running, mountain biking, and gym sessions. It is operated by Hackerman AB (org.nr 559079-1918), a Swedish company. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

You sign up with your email address. We send a 6-digit login code each time you log in. No passwords to remember or lose.

You're responsible for all activity under your account.

Duostride costs €72 for one year of access, paid once, including VAT where applicable. Paddle, our merchant of record, calculates and collects VAT based on your location. All features are included. There is no free tier.

No auto-renew. Your payment buys one year. Nothing renews automatically. When the year ends, you decide whether to pay for another one. We'll email you before your year runs out so you're never surprised.

Refunds. If you're not satisfied, request a refund within 30 days of payment. No questions asked.

EU right of withdrawal. EU consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive. By starting to use Duostride immediately after purchase, you ask us to begin the service straight away and acknowledge that this withdrawal right ends once we do. Our 30-day refund policy still applies regardless.

Price changes. Because each payment covers a single year, price changes only affect future purchases. Your current year runs at the price you paid.

When you pay, you get one year of full access. Two weeks before your year ends, we'll email you a reminder. We send a second reminder three days before. Nothing happens automatically. No card is charged. No subscription silently renews. If you want another year, you pay for one.

If your year ends without a renewal, your account enters a 90-day grace period. During this time the app is locked, but your data is preserved and any connected sources keep syncing in the background. You can pay for another year at any point in the 90 days to restore full access, or export everything as JSON from the locked landing page. After 90 days, your account and all associated data is permanently deleted. We send warning emails 30 days and 7 days before deletion.

Renewing before your year ends never costs you days. The new year stacks onto the end of the current one.

You own your data. We store it to provide the service. We don't sell it, share it, or use it for anything else. See our privacy policy for details.

You can export all your data at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Use Duostride for logging your training. Don't use it to store illegal content, abuse the service, or interfere with other users. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

If you connect your Garmin account, you authorize Duostride to receive your activity data from Garmin. You can disconnect at any time. Garmin's own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of Garmin devices and services.

We aim to keep Duostride available and reliable, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. We may update, modify, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data.

Duostride is a training log, not medical or coaching advice. Don't make health decisions based solely on what the app shows you.

To the extent permitted by law, Duostride's liability is limited to the amount you've paid in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any dispute shall be resolved by the Gothenburg District Court (Göteborgs tingsrätt), unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
